Location and historical significance of the building

We are located at Týnská 633/12, inside the historical house Dům U Podvinů, in a place where Prague’s history has flowed uninterrupted for more than seven hundred years. The story of our house begins around 1300, during the reign of Wenceslas II.

Today, the ground floors of the house serve as the home of our antique showroom, continuing the building’s centuries-long connection to craftsmanship and historical heritage.

The U Podvinů house has a long and layered history. Its earliest surviving structures date to the late 13th century, as evidenced by several preserved medieval elements.

In the cellar beneath the courtyard, a section of a late Romanesque wall can still be seen. From the Gothic period, the house retains a refurbished profiled portal located on the ground floor inside the showroom.

«OMNIA CUM TEMPORE»

The building’s historic motto, «OMNIA CUM TEMPORE» (lat. «All in good time»), captures the essence of this place. Within these walls, works of art reveal their stories and craftsmanship acquires new depth. In a space steeped in history, every object echoes the legacy of the house. What was once a refuge for merchants has become a setting where heritage and beauty unfold.
